We live in the future – supercomputers in every pocket, 4K cameras, vast storage, and ubiquitous wireless connectivity. Add to that AI capable of understanding and analyzing images, remarkable video codecs, and real-time processing power, and you’d think we’ve arrived at the future. We have transitioned to IP-based video and audio workflows, seemingly completing the puzzle. Yet somehow, when you get into work and sit down at your desk and try to do something as simple as move a video from your phone to your computer, the experience falls frustratingly short of what all these ingredients should deliver. In this talk, Andrew Cross will explore why having all the right ingredients is not enough, and what the next chapter will look like.
