David Leopold is an award-winning editor, television creative, and technologist who spent two decades working with the world’s most iconic studios and broadcasters like MTV, Nickelodeon, and Paramount, evolving business strategies to stay ahead of the curve. As an editor, he produced thousands of hours of content including series, short-form videos, animation, promos, concerts, events, and the 2014 documentary feature, R.E.M. by MTV. Strategically, Leopold helped launch MTV On Demand, defining a new category of ancillary content for VOD services, designing strategies to monetize content-rich archives, and developing tools and techniques for artists to amplify their creativity.

In recent years, Leopold has spoken at conferences and industry events like NAB, Adobe MAX, and the Producers Guild of America, to name a few, sharing his approach to problem-solving and insights on emerging technology. At LucidLink, he brings remote collaboration solutions to creatives around the world, unlocking new ways of working, never before possible.
