Senior Creative Producer/Studio Operations Manager
Owen Modeste is a senior creative producer and studio operations manager at the Stanford University Center for Global Online Education. For over 10 years, he has created educational content for the School of Engineering, incorporating interactive elements and leveraging AI technologies to improve his process workflow and enhance the learning experience.
Before joining Stanford University, Modeste began his career as a sports production intern at CBS San Francisco (KPIX), where he gained invaluable industry experience. He worked as a weekend sports producer at KPIX for over a decade, covering major sports leagues such as the NBA, NFL, and MLB. He also had the opportunity to collaborate with HBO and worked on several pilot projects for the Food Network.
Modeste returns annually to his alma mater, San Francisco State University, to mentor broadcast students and empower aspiring professionals. He is also passionate about tackling the challenges faced by inner-city youth, dedicating his time to mentor those confronted with systemic racism, poverty, and challenging home environments.
