A need to stand above the noise and create images with a strong point of view has been Roy Wanguhu’s guiding light when collaborating. The camera has provided a rich medium through which he has been able to create those images globally and locally. His global pursuits have seen him work in more than 3 continents. Being an early adopter of digital video technology, Wanguhu’s versatility saw him work on award-winning feature films and short films in festival circuits around the globe.
Wanguhu’s flexibility with shooting gear has seen him work all over the world, where he has also worked on trendsetting sports and lifestyle shows. He approaches each project with new enthusiasm and creativity.
As a director of photography, Wanguhu works with different cameras available for the project, from shooting in sound stages, XR stages, and on location – he is a great team player and enjoys working with others. Wanguhu is currently located in the San Francisco/Bay area.
