Seth Hallen

With over 25 years of experience in media and entertainment technology, Seth Hallen is a visionary leader in AI, passionate about the intersection of storytelling and innovation. As an investor and advisor, he supports early-stage AI-driven MediaTech startups, helping them secure funding, refine product strategies, gain visibility, and build critical industry connections.

Hallen is a strong advocate for AI’s potential to enhance creativity, viewing it as a powerful tool for creators. Throughout his career, he has built strong relationships with industry decision-makers, leading high-performing teams across North America and Europe, driving revenue growth, and setting new industry standards.

Hallen served nearly a decade as president of the Hollywood Professional Association (HPA), where he led initiatives that advanced post-production innovation, including cloud-based workflows and remote collaboration technologies. He is also a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and its AI Task Force, contributing to industry-shaping discussions on emerging technologies.

In his previous executive roles, Hallen was managing director at Light Iron, a Panavision company, where he expanded operations and modernized post-production workflows. At Pixelogic Media, he was a partner and head of global strategy, playing a pivotal role in the acquisition of Sony DADC New Media Solutions. As CEO of Testronic Labs, he transformed the company into a digital services leader by launching the first third-party file-based test lab.

An advocate for continuous evolution, Hallen is dedicated to mentoring future leaders and empowering creators with innovative tools. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in radio, television, and film from the University of Maryland and has completed advanced studies in artificial intelligence at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
