Ending 50 years on the road as a tour manager and audio engineer, Chuck now offers consultations, sits on the board of ECCHO Live, and speaks at various Knights of Rock presentations on the Explora line in the Mediterranean and Caribbean.
He began his career in the early 70’s as part of the vanguard of those using 1/2” helical scan and thus ‘portable’ video. It has provided a great overview in assessing both the broad panoply of video’s creative might in the touring industry, but also a grassroots understanding of what drove us to want to see and share everything in the new digital world.
