Matthew Celia is an Emmy award-winning director and a leading voice in immersive cinema whose work thrives at the intersection of storytelling and innovation, having produced over 200 immersive films for industry giants such as Meta, Google, and Amazon. He has guided Light Sail VR for ten years and built a creative studio known for treating immersive work as cinema and builds each project around story and a strong sense of presence. With a knack for blending narrative authenticity and cutting-edge technology, Matthew draws on early experience at Warner Bros and years of hands-on work in production and post production workflows. He earned his BFA in Film Production with honors from Chapman University. His instinct for shaping immersive moments with emotional weight guides Light Sail VR’s story-first approach and fuels its vision for next generation storytelling.
