Acclaimed visual effects supervisor Rob Legato, known for his groundbreaking work on Titanic, The Lion King, Avatar, and Apollo 13, will appear at the 2026 Silicon Valley Video Summit (SVVS26) on January 27 at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California. Rob Legato is developed the virtual cinematography pipeline for James Cameron’s Avatar, which went on to surpass Titanic as the highest-grossing film of all time. His pioneering visual effects work also includes Apollo 13, The Aviator, and the virtual production of The Lion King. He serves as Chief Pipeline Officer of the new AI filmmaking company Stability AI.
