The corporate branding considerations that are being made as part of a media organization’s technical and aesthetic choices will be looked at in detail by industry experts during the Studio Production & Post Track panel session “New Looks for Corporate Creatives,” at the second annual Silicon Valley Video Summit (SVVS), Jan. 23.

Corporate creatives are experimenting with innovative “looks,” while camera, lens and lighting manufacturers are expanding their visual palettes. What they have to figure out is when they should be shifting to Cine, Broadcast, PTZ or the iPhone’s iOS operating system.

The panel will be moderated by Michel Suissa, who, as the managing director of The Studio division of B&H, has spearheaded the development of high-end solutions for the professional media industry.

Suissa’s early work as a visual effects artist and creative director has also been recognized for his innovative approach. Over the past decade, Suissa dedicated himself to offering technology solutions and innovations to the media and entertainment sector. He is credited with bringing B&H into a new era of prominence for a very diverse range of market verticals.

Although the focus will be on the creative aspect of the panelists’ work, Suissa said he “will probably be injecting technology into the conversation, simply because I think it shapes decision making in terms of how to approach certain projects.”

Panelists will include Nicole Atkinson Roach, director of LinkedIn Media Productions; Alex Lau, Meta global executive video producer; David Polk, an executive producer at Intel; and Michael Sternoff, Amazon creative director.

B&H Photo and its professional division, the Studio, will host an expanded technology pavilion at the front door of the show this year, presenting innovative solutions to the Silicon Valley content creation community for the first time.

There will be two active conference stages producing double the number of sessions at this year’s show, complemented by a host of programmed roundtable conversations and breakouts. The agenda will feature an expanded emphasis on live event and meeting technologies. Real-world applications of artificial intelligence (AI) will be a consistent focus.
