Alex Pearce

Alex Pearce is an innovative filmmaker and a leader in the new XR movement.

Currently, he is the chief executive officer of Sim-Plates. Previously, he was a partner and senior creative technologist at Light Sail VR. He oversaw the technical side of Light Sail VR including virtual production, photo-real visual effects, and 3D pre-visualization, as well as augmenting 360 video and real-time game engine development efforts. Pearce’s work included creating immersive websites for Amazon Studios and crafting 3D animation for musician Jacob Collier. He worked with the innovative company Assimilate, who create the Virtual Production software Live FX.
