Brian (Bt) “Gibbs” is co-owner and principal at Skyline Entertainment & Publishing (at Tool Shed Studios) in Silicon Valley. With 20+ record credits in 2023, Gibbs uses his Bachelors of Music degree from Berklee College of Music (Jazz Composition) as a record producer and mixing engineer – with credits on 1M+ streams across Alternative, Country, Jazz, and other genres in 2022. He is also a 10+ year voting member and a very active 2023-25 governor for the San Francisco chapter of the Recording Academy.

For the Audio Engineering Society, Gibbs served as the area lead for the Recording Technology Practices programming at the 2023 AES 155th Convention at New York’s Javits Convention Center. He also leads two Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility subcommittees on Mentorship and Scholarship. Locally, Gibbs serves as the section treasurer for AES San Francisco.
