Key Accounts Manager; SMPTE, Membership Director for Student Outreach
John Shike is a key account sales manager at Advanced Systems Group, a leading installer of production, post-production, cloud, and media storage solutions, and the director of Educators and Educational Institutions for SMPTE’s membership committee. He has been involved with SMPTE for more than 30 years in his roles of sales, marketing, product management, and teaching professional media technology.
In addition to SMPTE, Shike has been involved in SBE, VSF, AMWA, and other organizations that have been essential to the development of new media technologies, including the transformation of video into file with MXF and video over IP with SMTPE ST-2110.
