John Shike is a key account manager at Advanced Systems Group, and is the director of educators and educational institutions for SMPTE’s membership committee. Shike has been involved with SMPTE for more than 30 years in his roles of sales, marketing, product management, and teaching professional media technology. He works with the global SMPTE organization through his work on the membership committee and locally with the San Francisco section. In addition to SMPTE, Shike has been involved in SBE, VSF, AMWA, NextGenerationWorkforce, and other organizations that have been essential to the development of new media technologies and the standards that serve as the backbone to the industry of professional media.
