Principal Research Engineer
Nicolas Tsingos is a principal research engineer at Skywalker Sound based in San Rafael, CA. Previously, he was a director at Dolby Labs with over 15 years of research experience in the field of interactive spatial audio rendering.
Tsingos has authored over 30 scientific papers in the fields of computer graphics, acoustics, and spatial audio. He has also developed perceptual audio rendering technologies currently in use in commercial video games. More recently, Tsingos designed the authoring and rendering tools for Dolby Atmos, Dolby’s latest cinema sound system.
